A BOUNCE: The Basketball Opera made its New York premiere on the legendary court at Holcombe Rucker Park in Harlem — recently designated a National Monument — in a production covered by The New York Times, CBS News, and OperaWire. Presented in partnership with the Rucker Pro Legends' National Association of Each One Teach One, a youth mentoring program combating gun violence now in its 58th year, the two performances drew a cast and crew of more than 45, a live band, and packed bleachers, blending opera, gospel, rap, EDM, and pop music.
